Who is responsible for your data

Tagalog Hero operates the learning service at tagaloghero.com and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to echo.woodland.99@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Google account information

If you choose Google Sign-In, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and authentication information needed to maintain your session. Google Sign-In is optional.

Learning information

We store lesson completion, exercise performance, noun and skill mastery, review timing, learning settings, and related progress so the curriculum can resume and adapt across devices.

Browser and service information

For learners who are not signed in, we use a random browser identifier to save progress. We also store timestamps and a country code supplied by our hosting provider for aggregate service reporting. We do not store precise location in the learning-progress record.

Optional analytics

If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics may process page visits, device and browser details, approximate region, and interaction measurements. Tagalog Hero does not send your email, Google profile, or learning-progress record to Google Analytics.

How we use information

• Authenticate accounts and keep sessions secure.
• Save, restore, and synchronize learning progress.
• Choose appropriate review and curriculum activities.
• Maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems.
• Understand aggregate site usage when Analytics permission is granted.

Where applicable, these uses rely on providing the service you request, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, and your consent for optional Analytics.

Services that process information

We use a limited set of providers to operate Tagalog Hero:

• Neon provides authentication and database storage.
• Vercel hosts and delivers the website.
• Google provides optional account sign-in and, with permission, Analytics.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and local storage

Essential browser storage supports authentication, progress, preferences, and security. Optional Google Analytics storage is not activated until you select Allow analytics. You can revisit that decision at any time.

Retention and deletion

Account and learning information is retained while it is needed to provide your profile and progress. Provider security logs and backups may remain for a limited period. Analytics data is retained according to the configured Google Analytics retention settings.

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account and learning data by emailing echo.woodland.99@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may use Tagalog Hero without Google Sign-In and may decline optional Analytics without losing access to lessons.

International processing and security

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use HTTPS, managed authentication, access controls, and provider security measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Tagalog Hero is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy.
